Comparison

Zeotra vs Hootsuite

Hootsuite manages a whole social presence, YouTube included. Zeotra does one job: uploading and scheduling videos to up to 20 YouTube channels. If a team posts to several networks and needs approvals, a shared inbox and reports, Hootsuite is the better tool. If YouTube is the only place you publish, Zeotra covers it for less. Hootsuite's facts below come from its own plans page and help center, as of October 2026.

Zeotra

Multi-channel YouTube uploader. Upload to any of up to 20 connected channels from one dashboard, with AI-written metadata, scheduling and no account-switching. Each upload goes to the channel you pick.

Best for: people who upload videos and Shorts to 2 or more YouTube channels and publish nowhere else.

Hootsuite

Social media management suite for teams: scheduling, a shared inbox, analytics and social listening across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube. On YouTube it uploads and schedules long-form videos and Shorts.

Best for: social media teams and agencies running several networks who need approvals, a shared inbox and reporting in one place.

Pricing comparison at scale

At 1 YouTube channel: Zeotra Free is $0 (20 uploads a month, 1 a day). Hootsuite lists no free plan; Standard is $99 per user a month, billed annually, and covers 10 accounts across every network it supports. If YouTube is all you post to, most of that goes unused.

At 2–5 YouTube channels: Zeotra Pro is $19/mo or $190/yr for up to 5 channels and 50 uploads a month. Hootsuite Standard is $99 per user a month billed annually ($1,188 a year for one user), with room for 10 accounts on any network.

At 6–20 YouTube channels: Zeotra Premium is a flat $49/mo or $490/yr for up to 20 channels and 500 uploads. Hootsuite Standard stops at 10 accounts; Professional, at $199 per user a month billed annually, connects as many as you need.

Hootsuite prices as listed on hootsuite.com/plans in October 2026: per user per month, billed annually; month-to-month billing costs more per user. Hootsuite's price also buys an inbox, listening and reports across networks that Zeotra doesn't have. Every Zeotra limit is on the pricing page.

Frequently asked

Can Hootsuite schedule YouTube videos?

Yes. Hootsuite Help (updated June 2026) says you upload an MP4 or M4V file of up to 1 GB to a connected channel, set it to private or unlisted and turn on Schedule to go Public. Videos are limited to 15 minutes unless the YouTube account is verified, and a vertical video under a minute publishes as a Short. Zeotra schedules the same way: it uploads the video as private with your publish time, and YouTube publishes it.

Does Hootsuite have a free plan?

Not on its plans page as of October 2026. Paid plans start at $99 per user a month billed annually (Standard), and there is a 14-day trial that needs no card. Zeotra's Free plan is permanent: 1 channel, 20 uploads a month (1 a day), no card.

Is Hootsuite or Zeotra cheaper for several YouTube channels?

For YouTube alone, Zeotra. As of October 2026, Hootsuite Standard is $99 per user a month billed annually for up to 10 accounts; Zeotra Pro is $19 a month for up to 5 YouTube channels and Premium $49 a month for up to 20. Hootsuite's price also covers your other networks, a shared inbox and social listening; if you need those, compare it with other social suites instead.

Can Zeotra post to Instagram, TikTok or other networks?

No. Zeotra only uploads to YouTube. If you share each video on several networks, a tool like Hootsuite fits better.

Can Zeotra post one video to all my channels in one click?

No. Each upload goes to one channel you pick. To post the same video on another channel you upload it again (another upload on your plan) with its own title, description and tags, from the same dashboard without switching accounts. On Pro and Premium, one CSV can plan many videos across channels.

Can my team share a Zeotra account?

Zeotra accounts are single-user, with no team seats or approval steps. Hootsuite sells seats per user and adds post approvals on its Advanced and Enterprise plans, which suits a team better.

Is it safe to connect my channels to Zeotra?

Zeotra asks Google only for permission to upload videos and read channel details, encrypts the stored access tokens, and relays video files to YouTube without storing them. Google's verification of Zeotra is still pending, so connecting a channel shows Google's unverified-app screen.
