1. Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you use Zeotra:
- Account information: Name, email address, and password (hashed).
- YouTube channel data: Channel name, ID, and OAuth tokens when you connect a channel.
- Uploaded content: Video files are temporarily stored during the upload process to YouTube. Successfully uploaded files are deleted immediately. Failed uploads are automatically deleted 48 hours after failure.
- Usage data: Upload counts, feature usage, and basic analytics.
- Payment data: Handled entirely by PayPal. We store only your PayPal subscription ID, not payment card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the Service.
- To upload and manage videos on your YouTube channels on your behalf.
- To generate AI-powered metadata for your videos.
- To process billing and manage your subscription.
- To communicate with you about your account and the Service.
- To enforce our Terms of Service and protect against abuse.
3. Third-Party Services
Zeotra integrates with the following third-party services:
- Google OAuth & YouTube API: Used for user authentication and YouTube channel management. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Gemini AI: Used to generate video metadata. Video titles and keywords are sent to Google's AI service for processing.
- PayPal: Used for subscription billing. Subject to PayPal's Privacy Policy.
- Google Drive: Optional integration for importing video files. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. OAuth tokens are stored securely in our database. Video files are temporarily stored during upload processing and automatically deleted after successful upload to YouTube. Files from failed uploads are automatically purged after 48 hours. We do not permanently store your video files. We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, CSP headers, and rate limiting to protect your data.
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Video metadata and upload logs are retained for 12 months. Video files are deleted immediately after successful upload to YouTube. Files from failed uploads are automatically deleted 48 hours after the failure. Upon account deletion, all associated data is removed within 30 days.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Disconnect your YouTube channel and revoke OAuth access at any time.
- Export your data upon request.

7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
