Zeotra vs Buffer
Buffer schedules posts to many social networks, but on YouTube it handles Shorts only. Zeotra uploads long-form videos and Shorts, and only to YouTube. If you post Shorts alongside Instagram, TikTok and the rest, Buffer fits better, and its free plan covers 3 channels. If you upload full-length videos to several YouTube channels, Buffer doesn't do that today and Zeotra does. Buffer's facts below come from its own pricing page and help center, as of October 2026.
Zeotra
Multi-channel YouTube uploader. Upload to any of up to 20 connected channels from one dashboard, with AI-written metadata, scheduling and no account-switching. Each upload goes to the channel you pick.
Best for: people uploading full-length videos, not only Shorts, to 2 or more YouTube channels.
Buffer
Social media scheduler priced per channel, with a free plan for up to 3 channels. It publishes to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky and more; on YouTube it schedules Shorts only.
Best for: creators and small teams posting Shorts and other short-form content across several networks.

The verdict
Choose Buffer if
you post Shorts alongside Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn or other networks, want a free plan that covers 3 channels, or need a team to share one workspace.
Choose Zeotra if
you upload full-length videos, not only Shorts, to 2 or more YouTube channels and want AI-written metadata, scheduling and CSV planning for all of them in one dashboard.
Use both if
you publish Shorts and posts across networks with Buffer, and upload long-form videos to your YouTube channels with Zeotra. They barely overlap.
Going with Zeotra? One channel: start free. 2–5 channels: Pro at $19/month. 6–20 channels or more than 50 uploads a month: Premium at $49/month, flat.

Can Buffer upload regular YouTube videos?
No. Buffer's help center says it supports YouTube Shorts only, not long-form videos, as of October 2026. Shorts can be up to 3 minutes and 10 GB, and Buffer either publishes them for you or reminds you on your phone. Zeotra uploads full-length videos and Shorts alike, up to 500 MB per file.
Is YouTube on Buffer's free plan?
Yes, as a Shorts channel. Buffer's Free plan includes all of its channel integrations, up to 3 channels in total and 10 scheduled posts per channel at a time. Zeotra's Free plan covers 1 YouTube channel and 20 uploads a month (1 a day), full-length videos included.
Which is cheaper for several YouTube channels?
As of October 2026, Buffer Essentials is $6 per channel a month ($5 billed yearly) for the first 10 channels and $4 for each of the next 15: $30 a month for 5 channels, $100 for 20. Zeotra Pro is $19 a month for up to 5 YouTube channels and Premium $49 for up to 20. Buffer's channels can be on any network, though, and on YouTube it posts Shorts only.
Can Buffer manage several YouTube channels?
Yes. Each YouTube channel counts as one channel on your Buffer plan, and Buffer's help center says you connect it signed in as the channel's owner.
Can Zeotra post one video to all my channels in one click?
No. Each upload goes to one channel you pick. To post the same video on another channel you upload it again (another upload on your plan) with its own title, description and tags, from the same dashboard without switching accounts. On Pro and Premium, one CSV can plan many videos across channels.
Can I use both at the same time?
Yes, they don't conflict: Buffer for Shorts and posts on your other networks, Zeotra for full-length uploads across your YouTube channels. Zeotra doesn't post anywhere but YouTube.
Is it safe to connect my channels to Zeotra?
Zeotra asks Google only for permission to upload videos and read channel details, encrypts the stored access tokens, and relays video files to YouTube without storing them. Google's verification of Zeotra is still pending, so connecting a channel shows Google's unverified-app screen.
