Zeotra vs Later
Later plans and publishes posts across eight social networks, but on YouTube it handles Shorts only. Zeotra uploads long-form videos and Shorts, and only to YouTube. If your brand is Instagram-first and Shorts are one part of a calendar that also covers TikTok, Facebook and the rest, Later fits better. If you upload full-length videos to one or more YouTube channels, Later doesn't do that today and Zeotra does. Later's facts below come from its own pricing page and help center, as of October 2026.
Zeotra
Multi-channel YouTube uploader. Upload to any of up to 20 connected channels from one dashboard, with AI-written metadata, scheduling and no account-switching. Each upload goes to the channel you pick.
Best for: people uploading full-length videos, not only Shorts, especially to 2 or more YouTube channels.
Later
Visual social media planner priced per plan, from $25 a month. It publishes to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Snapchat and YouTube from one drag-and-drop calendar; on YouTube it schedules Shorts only, one channel per social set.
Best for: brands and creators, often Instagram-first, who plan posts for several networks visually and treat Shorts as one part of that plan.

At 5 YouTube channels: Later needs 5 social sets: Growth plus 3 extra social sets, $95 a month ($71.25 billed yearly), for Shorts. Zeotra Pro is $19/mo or $190/yr for up to 5 channels and 50 uploads a month, full-length videos included.
At 20 YouTube channels: Later is Scale plus 14 extra social sets: $320 a month ($240 billed yearly). Zeotra Premium is a flat $49/mo or $490/yr for up to 20 channels and 500 uploads.

The verdict
Choose Later if
your brand is Instagram-first or posts to several networks, and you want one drag-and-drop calendar, Link in Bio and analytics for Instagram and TikTok, with Shorts as one part of the plan.
Choose Zeotra if
you upload full-length videos, not only Shorts, to your YouTube channels and want AI-written metadata, scheduling and, on Pro and Premium, CSV planning for up to 20 channels in one dashboard.
Use both if
you plan Instagram, TikTok and your other networks (and Shorts, if you like) in Later, and upload long-form videos to your YouTube channels with Zeotra. They barely overlap.
Going with Zeotra? One channel: start free. 2–5 channels: Pro at $19/month. 6–20 channels or more than 50 uploads a month: Premium at $49/month, flat.

Can Later upload regular YouTube videos?
No. Later's help center says only YouTube Shorts can be scheduled and published through Later, not long-form videos, as of October 2026. A Short has to be 15 seconds to 3 minutes long and vertical or square, and Later publishes it automatically at the time you pick. Zeotra uploads full-length videos and Shorts alike, up to 500 MB per file.
How many YouTube channels can I connect to Later?
One per social set. A social set holds one profile from each network Later supports, so Starter (1 set) covers one YouTube channel, Growth 2 and Scale 6. Growth and Scale can add more sets, each $15 a month ($11.25 billed yearly); Starter can't. Later supports personal and Brand Account channels, and its help center says only the channel's owner can connect one. Zeotra covers 1 YouTube channel on Free, 5 on Pro and 20 on Premium.
Which is cheaper for several YouTube channels?
As of October 2026, 5 YouTube channels on Later cost $95 a month (Growth plus 3 extra social sets) and 20 cost $320 (Scale plus 14 extra social sets), or $71.25 and $240 billed yearly. Zeotra Pro is $19 a month for up to 5 YouTube channels and Premium $49 for up to 20. Later's social sets also cover seven other networks, though, and on YouTube it posts Shorts only.
Does Later have a free plan?
Later's pricing page lists Starter, Growth and Scale, each with a 14-day trial. Its help center also describes a limited Free plan that can schedule 1 YouTube Short a month. Zeotra's Free plan is permanent: 1 channel, 20 uploads a month (1 a day), no card.
Can I schedule YouTube Shorts from my phone with Later?
From iPhone, yes: Later's YouTube Shorts help article covers scheduling on desktop and in its iOS app, but not on Android. Zeotra is a web app with no mobile app.
Can Zeotra post one video to all my channels in one click?
No. Each upload goes to one channel you pick. To post the same video on another channel you upload it again (another upload on your plan) with its own title, description and tags, from the same dashboard without switching accounts. On Pro and Premium, one CSV can plan many videos across channels. Later can schedule one post to up to 10 profiles at once and edit it for each.
Can I use both at the same time?
Yes, they don't conflict: Later for Instagram, TikTok and your other networks, Zeotra for full-length uploads across your YouTube channels. Zeotra doesn't post anywhere but YouTube.
Is it safe to connect my channels to Zeotra?
Zeotra asks Google only for permission to upload videos and read channel details, encrypts the stored access tokens, and relays video files to YouTube without storing them. Google has verified Zeotra's access to these YouTube permissions.
